    Owner / Veterinarian
    Graduated from Michigan State University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and in 1987 with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.

    Member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, the Michigan Veterinary Medical Association and The American Association for the Advancement of Science.

    Completed the Dale Carnegie course in 1995.

    Practice is limited to dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, ferrets and iguanas, with a particular interest in internal medicine.

  • Rachele Hyde, LVT

    Practice Manager

    Rachele graduated from Macomb County Community College with an Associate™s Degree of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in 2002.  She was promoted  to Practice Manager in 2010.  She has a dog named Missy and a cat named Frank.When she is not busy caring for the practice,™ clients and their pets, she enjoys running and brewing/judging beer.  Her home brews have won numerous awards in local and regional contests.

  • Rebecca Cooper, LVT, BS

    Veterinary Technician

    Becky grew up in Port Huron, MI and has been a lifelong resident. She attended Western Michigan University and earned her Bachelor of Science in 1991. Becky began her career working for a small animal practice in Kalamazoo. In 1996, she received her LVT diploma from Michigan State University. She has been in small animal practice for 16 years. From 2005 thru 2010, she was an instructor in the LVT program at Baker College teaching microbiology, small animal surgical nursing, and diagnostic laboratory. Becky has been married for 14 years and has 2 children.

  • Stacey Camastra, LVT

    Veterinary Technician

    Stacey joined our practice team in May 2018. 
    She is a SUNY graduate from Canton, New York and is completing a certification in Canine (feline) Rehab through the U of Tennessee to assist pets to live healthy long lives. She lives in the Blue Water area enjoys water sports, hiking, spending time with her four children, 2 dogs- Grace and Brahma; 2 cats - Isobel and Bagheera and also her flock of chickens!

  • Kelly Crerar, LVT

    Veterinary Technician

    Kelly graduated from Baker College with an Associates degree in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in 2010. She worked in a large vet hospital in Chesterfield for 8 years before joining our team in May 2018 to work close to home, and her new baby, born in March. She enjoys outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.

  • April Cox, BS

    Veterinary Assistant

    April joined our practice team in May 2018.
    She recently received her Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan. Since completing her degree she has returned to the Blue Water Area where she grew up. When not at the practice April loves to spend time with family and friends.

    The face of the practice.  Oversees all cat related issues. Resides in the pharmacy area during regular office hours.  Makes sure that staff members keep things picked up (marks on coats, purses, etc. left out in the lunch room).   Hobbies include drinking out of the water faucet, getting underfoot and chewing on plastic.  Also, likes to give paw massages to favored employees.
